Youth Theatre Summer School 2018

Online Registration for the Summer School has now closed
The ECC is offering a theatre summer school from 9th – 13th July for children aged between 6 and 16 years old. The week’s activities will be based around the stories of Robin Hood and will include acting, singing and dancing rehearsals. Additionally, there will be a series of workshops on some of the back-stage aspects of theatre, such as hair & make-up, sets, props, sound, and lighting. The aim is to give a short performance for parents on the Friday afternoon, with the possibility for some children to be involved back-stage, if they wish to do so!
The Summer School will take place at the Warehouse Studio Theatre, Rue Waelhem 69A, 1030 Bruxelles.
The days’s activities will run from 9h until 17h each day with supervised child minding from 8h in the mornings and until 18h each afternoon.
The cost for the week will be €150 per child with a 20% reduction for any siblings (€120).
Steve O’Byrne, a member of the ECC committee, is organising the week, with Stephen Challens (BIG BRU Youth Theatre teacher), leading the drama activities. They are being assisted and supported with the various talents of Andrew Glover (opera singer, voice coach), Patrick Maher (playwright, drama teacher), James Hogan (musician, drama teacher), Jennifer Cleal (make-up artist), Rosarinho Baylina (choreographer), with specialist workshops led by Lyn Wainwright, Ewan Clark, Mary Wiklander-Williams and Fiona McGinnis
