TIE (Theatre in English, Theatre in Education)

TIE was set up as a non profit-making organisation to provide touring theatre in English to local Brussels schools. TIE also has vibrant Youth Theatre providing English-speaking children with the opportunity to perform in English.  They are also the Belgium examination centre for The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). These examinations take place once a year and are open to both TIE students and external candidates.  

Amateur English Speaking Theatre in Europe

FEATS (The Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies)

FEATS is an annual competition between English-speaking amateur theatrical groups resident in mainland Europe. It takes place over four days and there are four evenings of of three one-act plays per evening under the critical eye of an invited Adjudicator from the Guild of Drama Adjudicators.

The Festival started many years ago in the BENELUX countries, and has since grown to a four-day Festival of international renown. There are activities during the day to ensure a busy weekend; workshops; tours of the town/region; discussion forums; and the Fringe Festival

Britain's National Museum of the Performing Arts.

Situated in the heart of London's theatreland, it holds the world's largest and most important collections relating to the British stage. Its role is to increase the understanding and enjoyment of the performing arts and encourage every one of you to experience the magic of performance through stimulating exhibitions, educational workshops, tours and events.

It is well worth spending a whole day there. There are regular workshops of all kinds (Paul Gray)
